work hard play hard

well the season is just a day or say away. i might be done tomorow or possibly in the next couple of days or so. the season has been pretty profitable actually its been my most profitable summer yet so thats deffinitley a plus. im super excited for vegas and ill be leaving within the week. i got my trailer all loaded up and im pretty much just waiting for the last day of work then ill be outta here. im actually glad i baught that trailer even though im going to sell it for pretty much the same price it was a good decision to buy it. my stuff fills it up pretty good i mean theres some room to stack stuff like the couple peices of furniture i buy in vegas and also i saw another 6x10 trailer while i was doing arrons and it looked older and in worse shape and they were selling it for 4900 vs. mine which is newer in better shape for 3500 so even though im gonna sell it, it makes the purchase feel better on my side. as far as poker i really havnt played the last 2 weeks at all i had to do cleaning and all that stuff. i decided if my walls are ever dirty again im going to paint them rather then wash and wipe them. i mean my walls wernt filthy or anything just a couple spots that had a little dirty spots from dust or whatever but the work of cleaning them made me say wow this move totally isnt worth it. but it really is. also i when i get to colorado i plan on staying at my aunts place probablly for like a week or so its only like 1000 or so miles away from vegas so i can set up a bunch of appointments to veiw apartments around the first and then drive down there and hopefully move right in with out having to stay at a questionable 20$ a night motel lol.



for the poker i did play thats my graph lol 8500 hands this month wooo. lol when i 24 table that will be like a day of play lol anyways up 53.50 for the month so atleast im up for the month had a bit of a downswing from what i can remember but yeah still up for the month. im really feeling good about this upcoming season it will be like 4.5-5 months of straight poker pretty much a dream for me anyways. im not gonna post my new season goals and expectations quite yet. for one im ususing a coffee shops internet cause im at my friends place till i leave and he doesnt have interweb so im resorted to kaladi bros internet haha thats alright though. and secondly i plan on going into a lot of details so it will take a while for me to complete and will take concentration which right now i really dont have haha. soooo i think im done with this post i think the next post will be when i stop in canada at a hotel and im sure it will be a bit more interesting than this one so dont let this post stop you from reading my posts i need followers haha alright later dreamers

one step closer

what is today tuesday i suppose. well i have mmm my fingers say 5.. 5 days left of work woooo actually there kinda saying either the day of the 1st or possibly the 2nd but anyways once monday comes around thats pretty much time to clock out on the season. another thing i just got done doing is i baught i 6x10 enclosed trailed for my things for 3500$ if anyone thinks thats a bad move i have reasoning. i was thinking of just getting a uhual i could get the small one for 600$ and tow it to vegas and then once the winters over i will have a couple peices of more furniture so i would need the next bigger one wich would be 1000$ to tow it to washington so that totals to 1600$ but you only get them for 12 days anything after is 20$ a day i believe which isnt horrible but say it only would have cost 1600 well thats 1900$ cheaper right?? not really, cause the trailer is liquid. meaning i can sell it at anytime. and if i find the right buyer (not that bright of a person) than i can actually sell it for more. so even if i sell the trailer for 2000$ i will have actually made a haundred dollars compared to the uhaul route. also i know i can sell it for most likely the same price so the move might not have cost me anything which is deffinitley +ev haha. another plus to it is i can use it as a storage unit some things i have i might not want to keep in my apartment like things to work on my truck and anything else so thats a plus as well, one last plus side to it is that it doesnt have a time limit on it so when i stop in colorado to see my aunt i can stay for a week if i want rather than a day or 2 so buying the trailer is deffinitely a plus. a negative side to this week is that i think my old kindergarten buddy is a moocher. he texted me today sayin whats up and then a couple texts later wanted to see if i could buy him some gas for his car. "so he can continue job hunting". wether that be the case or not im no ones meal ticket, i had a couple poor investments with my money with people before so ive def. learned my lesson on things needless to say i havnt texted him back oh well not like we are best friends or anything. so that is kinda a bummer also i really dont think im going to get anymore poker in before i leave :( ill pick up that trailer tomorow and then load my stuff up in it the next day or so and have to clean the carpets and my bathroom so i dont know i might be able to get one day in maybe we'll see. im going to take pictures of the road trip as well so ill post some on here that are the most memorable.. or disaterable more likely. this whole trip kinda sounds more than what its worth and this last week it kind of feels like that cause ive had to rush to do things after work so that ill be able to make the move smoothly. i know as soon as i get settled in and start living life in vegas ill be more than happy that i made the move. one of the biggest reasons for the move is the boredom of ak in the winter i mean there is snowboarding and winter sports and online poker but thats about it. your always cold outside your house and plenty of other things to complain about. i love alaska but i want a change. i will never be bored in vegas and one of the best things is i wont have to spend money if i want to be entertained. if i want to see sirens at TI ill go see it or the belagio fountains or any other free sightings. also one thing im looking forward to doing if boredom ever strikes is being able to watch some of the big tournament they hold live. i think wsop ciruit events go on in the winter who knows if im doing really well i might enter one i think there like 500$ or somthin. not to big on tourneys anymore but like many thats how i started playing poker. now for the entertainment that costs mulah i plan on seeing a few concerts i really wanna see neon trees so i hope they tour again somwhere near vegas or cali, also a couple mma fights and maybe some shows they have there like wayne brady or some other ones. then theres always the clubs man the more i talk about it the more i get excited about it i really dont plan on spending that much on entertainment issues thoughmaybe between 1-2k which isnt bad for a winter in vegas. i could really just play 5 months of straight poker and be fine with that as well haha. one downside to the move though is finding an apartment it should be pretty easy to find one there are tons available but thats not the problem i should be able to find one i a couple weeks but i was going to stay at my ex girlfriends parents place while i looked but they were suppose to have baught a house a couple months ago but there having problems with the sellers or somthing like that so its looking like they wont have a house when i get there and theyll be staying on the military base. so either i ruff it out in my truck which i can do or i find a super cheap like 20$ a night motel room till i find an apartment i actually would almost rather stay in my truck for 2 weeks then a ratty 20$ a night motel room. i can just picture horrible stained carpets and remanents of bullet holes in the dry wall. no thank you lol. the only reason i might stay in one is to shower and clean up so i dont smell like a homless dude trying to find an apartment lol. if i do stay in one of those cheap motels i make sure its not horribly bad. maybe ill do myself a favor and upgrade to a 40$ a night motel room haha. if its disasterable ill post pictures if not ill just blog about it lol. kinda on the relavant topic i was going to name this blog the rise and fall of askillz2 but even though ive went through my bankroll 1.5 times i havnt went totally bankrupt in life yet lol so ill save that blog name for when im selling my body on craigslist for poker money haha. holly crap its way past my bedtime haha gotta get my 8 hours. anyways ill try and post sunday if i have time so till then lovers

sunday second post

when i posted earlier i was comming off my drunken stuper so i wasnt all there haha actually played poker as well, 5nl. pretty much break even probablly played like 3k hands i didnt really pay attention to much to everything the most i was up or down was like a buy in nothing amazing i just felt like playing i think when i started i was 5.5 buyins up and now im at 5.25 buyins up so i lost like a quarter buyin lol. anyways i kinda wanted to put a little more info in on how my night went cause i wasnt very descriptive. also i cant sleep for some reason i got a lot of thaughts going through my head about everything so i might have a ruff night ahead of me at work tonight. so as far as my saturday night goes. i was pretty much the talk of the club. seriously though i had a t shirt on that goes to the beat of the music and lights up to the sound so everyone was like amazed by that i had like no joke 20 girls talk to me because it. i went up to the bar to get a drink and a girl i was standing next to asked if i thaught she was attractive. i was like..... what haha i didnt know what to say how often does a girl strive for your attention at a club lol so the whole night was a blast the only regret i have is that i wore the shirt. its one of those things you dont want to bring out im public cause you know people will jock the style but oh well first time i seen it in ak so i got credit to bringin it to ak if it starts popping up every where. actually i got the idea from my friend hes got the same shirt and a different one but dosnt go to clubs yet so i suppose i jocked him (my bad home skillet lol) anyways enough about the shirt. meeting my old kindergarten best friend was pretty awesome in its self like i said a couple posts ago hes an aspiring hip hop artist, gots a studio in his house and everything. i know the likelyhood of him making it is pretty slim but you cant blame anyone for going after there passion wether they end up poor or rich what matters the most is that you went after somthing you love doing. but besides that we had a blast. because we were entertaining each other i didnt really get to much one on one female time beside the awkward am i attractive comment from the attention deprived female at the bar. she was actually attractive too usually how it works i guess. so me and him just drank the night away only bounced between 2 clubs once usually im all over the place at every club and bar but we were having a good time at each club so we didnt need to go anywhere else. on the bad side i get bad hangovers whenever i over endulge in alcoholic consumption. im only 145 i might be 150 now but im 5'11'' i think so im pretty slender. lanky i gues :/ lol hahah no i got a good build though but yeah im still on the rather slender side but yeah so alcohol hits me pretty hard and it doesnt leave after i go to sleep for some reason weird huh??? thats why when im in vegas i prolly wont even party hard except a couple times a month i mean ill go to the clubs if there not to packed to get in and just sip a little bit and mingle it up but as far as getting slitherd thats not goin to be a frequent occurance. i plan on getting addicted to cocaine while im there anyway so thats all good..... lol just kidding im a pretty straight kind just alcohol is all i endulge in. so im pretty excited about everything by next monday i should be starting the next chapter of my life this trip is so much more than just moving to vegas for the winter its a first for many things one of which is living on my own for the first time im a mamas boy haha jk but yeah i 23 in a couple weeks so i figure its time to step out into the world plus if i ever manage to drag a hood rat back home itd be kinda weird with my mom being home lol. i kinda stayed at home the past 4 years to kinda help her out if that helps my situation at all. shes kinda in a difficult spot but its lookin better every year for her but yeah i help her out. see im still a good kid. im just a degenerate poker player haha. i have huge expectations in poker this year the more and more i think about it the expectations get bigger its gonna kinda suck when i fall flat on my face and go busto again lol jk but yeah that will be the next post i do i believe when i do my new season post so ill leave it at that and continue next time from there so stay tuned lovers

wooo sunday morninngg

ok so i just got back from going out with my friend from kidergarten. m,an that was fun, the guys from workin never showed up either they went somwheere else or just didnt wana come out either way dosnt really matter. one of the guys from the other dredge came out but i never did meet up with him he didnt answer his phone when i tried to reach him so i was like ok me and my kindergarten buddy from here on out. we got together around midnight he didnt really have money so i baught him like 4 or 5 drinks i dont mind it was a reaquaintence i wouldnt make a habit out of it but its my last weeknd sunay off in town so i dont really care. but yeah hes pretty gangster out i dont discriminate against anyone i have friends from all races and nationalities so it dosnt bother me. i was able to catch up on my ebonics though thats for sure lol. all in all though it was a fun time really great time getting to hang out with him and having fun in the clubs dancing a bit and everything inbetween. if vegas is even twice this. (although i know its like 5x this) it is going to be a blast. good thing too is that ill be able to pregame in the casinos before i go to the clubs haha im such a pennie pincher lol. i got some arrons donetoday though after work me and a friend were able to cash my piggey bank for a 100$ and then some video games i dont play for another 20$ so that was all good. i thimnk i might play some 2nl or maybe 5nl cause im still rather tipsy maybe even drunk i dont know but yeah deff. dont want to blow my bankroll. (see im still smart even thoough im drunk, must count for somthing in a poker player). so i might even post another entry before i go to sleep today for work we'll see how it goes. oh and another thing i went to best buy today just to look at desk tops and you can get a really nice one for like 950-1100 . and thats at best buy, if you get one at an actuall computer place it can be like 100$ cheaper so it is a lot less expensive then i thaught so that is good. oook immma try and play some poker wish me luck lol.

the end is nigh

im deciding to do a mid week post because im done packing woooo actually wasnt hard at all if i had the time i coulda did it in 8 hours straight a couple hours were spend kinda arranging and going through some stuff but yeah all i pretty much have is my bedroom a home gym and some things i had in my garage so pretty tight and light just like i like it. so with packing out of the way ill have free time after work well until like the last couple days so i dont know what im going to do with the free time... oh perhaps poker what a fine idea. yeah i should be able to get 5 or 6 days of poker in so probablly 10-12 hours lol im still up for the month like 5 buyins or somwhere around there so hopefully i can win some more for a decent last month of work. it also looks like were gonna have this sunday off unless they decide otherwise in the next couple days which means its time to drown my soul in wiskey and vodka lolof course making a fool out of my self at the clubs while i do it. its been like 5-6 weeks since me or any of the guys that i work with had any party time also the other dredge crew gets sunday off and when we all get together it gets wild lol. also i recently found an old freind thanks to facebook. his mom was my babysitter in kindergarten and we were like best freinds inseperable untill they moved away the next year never talked to him again saw him at my highschool for like a month but itd been so long since we talked i didnt say anything then he moved outta state, but now hes back and i think he might go out saturday night with me which will be fun to get reaqauinted. hes an aspiring hip hop artist. im not a music critic but his music sounds pretty good and im not just saying that www.myspace.com/swaggwell is his music page if your interested in hip hop check it out. as far as work goes. the end is oh so close they are really talking about the first wel start lashing the dredge down on the 31st and be done with it that day which would work out perfect for me seeing how i gotta be outta here on that day but they could have us stay a week or 2 later if thats what they want so i cant really give a definit date untill like a day before lol. i plan on only staying at a couple of places once i do get on the road. whitehorse in canada, then in washington at the tulalip casion i plan on playing there for 5 or 6 hours if they have a decnt nl spread going on and then colorado at my aunts place for a couple nights then onward to vegas ill try and blog about it wherever i stop if theres internet and what not. im super excited but i try not to think about it so im not so antsy about it. its not even the move to vegas its just being able to move some where that ill be warm have a lot of fun and be entertained for the winter so its totally worth it for me. also my new season goals will be coming up on the first im looking forward to that post but i dont know if i will be able to post it seeing how i might be on the road so it might take a little while to get it up. ill leave it at that for now and ill post again mostlikely on sunday later home fries

comeback??

so the week is over with and i cant say that im sorry to see it go. actually to start of the week poker was going pretty good was up like 3.5 buy ins or somthing around there and then bam doom switch i think i was on a 5 day downswing. was really hoping for the weeknd to bring decent results but nothing ever came but today ohhh today i think ive started going back up the hill. i started off the session pretty mediocore (if thats how you spell it) but nothing to huge i think i lost a buy in untill the last hour of my wopping 2 hour sessions i play haha. well i went from 1295 at my high point i think is what it was down to 1215 and now i think im going back up im at 1239 so pretty much 2.5 buyins up today from my lowest point so maybe it might keep going up. oh that is if i kept playing haha. today is supposed to be my last day of play before i pack. i really dont have that much stuff pretty much just my bedroom and a home gym machine and a couple other things so realistically it would only take me a couple days to get together so im pretty sure ill still have some time to play. i didnt want to post another graph quite yet just incase i do get some more playing in. either way ill do a a couple more posts at least and a monthly reveiw even if i dont get anymore playing time. this past week felt pretty bad though. first work is kinda dragging on. i think its more mentally than anything else cause we pretty much have 2 weeks left ( maybe a little more or less) so thats on everyones mind and i think its just the anticipation of getting the season over with which makes the last part of the job so difficult to deal with but soon enough itll be over and ill have plenty of time to provide myself with misadventures haha. also i really felt like my play was horrible this week even though i might be starting a comeback i think its more from luck than skill and i hate that. i am really glad though that i baught hem. ive only got about 8500 hands on there but it will give me enough things to review while im on the road and anytime between now and vegas. also im really glad that im underplaying my bankroll i think thats one of the biggest leaks ive come accross. ive always been good at following bankroll managment there hasnt really been a problem there. but ive never really delved into buy in managment. yes they are kinda the same thing but they are different as well. but this downswing i just went through if i was playing at 25nl id have to move down most likely and then it would take me twice as long to get to where i was. so i believe its just another step in becoming a decent regular. well november 1st is the begining of the new season for poker for me cause thats when my job usually ends and thats the time i get the most poker in. so its kinda like the begining of the new year for me so sometime around the first ill do a post reviewing my last season and the upcoming season, should be some juicy stuff in that post.

as far asmy life outside of poker... i have no life jk but pretty much i dont haha theres talk of us having this upcoming sunday off and boy if we do i think everyone is going to come in hungover the next day theres 2 other dredges on the same job and ones about to go back to washington we usually never have coordinating days off but when we do we pretty much tear up the town haha ( were just a bunch of drunken dredge hands anyways) but yeah if we have sunday of best believe were going out saturday night and if we do you best believe im gonna make a fool of myself shiiiit ahah soo other than that same ol same ol for a couple more weeks any ways im getting pretty antsy thinking about the move i just cant wait to get out of ak. till next time listners keep your radios tuned to etr 1000000038384.5 the fuzzzz

mid month review

this is actually my first mid month review. since im starting to get pretty serious into everything envolving poker im pretty serious about logging my reviews so once the new season starts up ill be doing mid months, monthly, quarters, half year, and yearly reports as well as any other time i feel like posting. to do a quick recap on the first half of the month last week i ran pretty hot i won like 11 buy ins or somthing like that well now this week is the opposite i havnt lost 11 buyins but im on the downswing which im fine with thats one of the major things about poker is the swings. there going to happen no matter who you are but im pretty comfident in my play and im sure it will be back on its way up shortly. i have been playing pretty poorly as well this week, yesterday i tried making a hero call that turned out horrible lost a stack there and then one of my last hands i had ak suited on the turn with 2 cards to my suit on board guy had qq so if i woulda shoved it pre it woulda been a flip but i elected to play it out anyway on the turn he over be the pot by like 30bb putting him all in and forcing me to make the right fold... that is if i would have made the fold DOH. on that hand it should have been a no brainer to throw it away all i was beating was a bluff and although the line he took seemed weird i wasnt abosloutly crazy so yeah. on my part though it was one of my last hands for the session i only get about 2 hours to play after work so im kinda on a timed session for right now so i had a big hand at the end of the session and i wanted to win i didnt care about playing correctly i just wanted to win and it cost me. well lesson learned and ill pay more attention to that. even though this week is going pretty poorly im still up for the month my rolls at 1228. im not sure if this will be the last week of my play before i move or not so this could be my monthly and season review as well haha. i did accomplish one thing though i wanted to get to atleast 1200 before i moved so that when i deposit 500$ ill be rolled enough for 100 buyins up to 10nl for when i start 24 tabling. i think when i get settled in and get internet im just gonna go ahead and get the desktop and make things simpler on my part but ill get to that when the time comes. works going good other than today just one of those days. its also getting cold out 25-30 degrees is the average now its still looking like we will be done the first maybe a week before or after but right around there anyway and omg i cant wait, not only am i burned out from working 6 days a week 12 hours a day for 6 months but im ready to get the hell out of ak for the winter i do looove the money though lol. i know things have been kinda boring in the life aspect of the blog as of late but i promise they will get pretty spicy here once i move.. ill make them get spicy or zesty or any other hot reference to food you can think of... anywhoozle heres my graph.



another thing is that you can see im above my all in ev which you might think is good but to me i dont like that as much although it does show that your running good it also shows that you got your money in bad and were lucky enough to win which i dont like that i like getting my money in good i will take the money no matter how i get it but id rather not depend on luck if i had my choice but deff. dont take this as a complaint haha. pretty much 2 more days left till i start packing and doing whatever else i need to do... a lot of masturbation hahaha jk maybe not but ill do an end of week review maybe i can win some of my losses back this weeknd. i just cant wait to be in a suny warm place with a pina colada while girls in bikinis walk around and then me trying to decide if i wanna try and win some money off the tourists today orrr hit on some girls at the tiki bar next to the pool ahhhh. oh sorry started day dreaming there but yeah lattteerrrrssss

taco night!!

the title has nothing to do with this post lol i just felt like having that as my title. anyway i remember some of the things i forgot to post on sunday. one thing i wanted to say is i feel extra confident going into this upcoming season even more so now then what i was because i found out that basically the guy i kinda idolize (kinda) i found out that he basically started how i did and played 4 tables and actually started off as a losing player, i dont know for how long but then he started 24 tabling and started at 25nl he gave him self 100 buy ins and would move up to the next level whenever he had 100 buy ins or move down when he had 100 buy ins for the lower level so basically 50 buyins if you plan on moving down in stakes but anyway he ran good i suppose but he was able to move up to 50nl in a month and i dont know how long before he got to 100nl hes now playing professional at 200nl and doing pretty well although i dont want to make poker my fulltime profession i do want to make money at it and his career pretty much follows how mine has went up to now so hopefully when i start 24 tabling i will get as much success started just like he did im going to start at 10nl but if im showing a lot of progress i might jump to 25nl maybe depositing a little more just so ill be rolled enough to play at the stakes but i feel confident with my play and i just didnt want to start 24tabling at that big of stakes just to start off but we will see how things go. another i just wanted to kinda throw out is just playing poker in general. through all of the posts and blogs and interviews whenever the player is talking and talks about playing prior to 2005 its always the same thing they always say how soft the games use to be and how much easier it was to make money. so i was just throwing that out there just to show how difficult poker is actually getting only the players that spend the time evaluating their play and trying to get better will be winners in the end now. the guy that i idiolize stated that 100nl is pretty much the promise land. big enough buy in to make decent money and make plenty of fpp's and still a decent amount of fish to take money off of. the first 2 are still true but when he posted that was about a year ago and things have deffinitley changed in this year. 100nl usually has about 7 or 8 regs at every table. i believe the weeknds are still pretty profitable but i think its moved on a little bit from being the most profitable stakes. 50nl might be the new promise land, about half the table are fish so that makes a pretty profitable situation but your also making about half the money and fpp's but more chances to take money from the fish so its like a give and take situation but yeah just a thaught i had going through my head i thaught id share. and monday is going good so far im about halfway through my 2 hour session lol but im almost up 2 buyins so things are going good i didnt play sunday when i posted (yesterday) cause i went out with a guy from work for lunch and drinks itd been about 5 weeks or so since i actually did somthing for my self other than work. but thats alright shortly ill be in my paradise also i might save the next post till next week sometime cause this is the last full week of poker for me i believe cause im going to start packing starting monday and i really want to play the weeknd out so we'll se how that goes. till next time my fellow rockafellers... oh yeah my roll is at 1275 starting out monday

for what its worth

this week has been super interesting. ill start with poker i suppose. on monday i won like a buy in or somthing like that and then tuesday i didnt play cause i wanted to say bye to my friend leaving to cali (might of been wednesday.. cant remember :S )
and then wednesday i fell to a buy in below thursday was awesome in many aspects that i will get to later but i was able to bring in up to +10$ and then friday hit and in 500 hands i won 40$ or 4 buy ins wich is a pretty decent win rate, saturday hit and there was another 50$. so im up almost 10 buy ins for this week which feels great even though it is 10nl and im pretty much garunteed to win at those stakes i feel good to see a positive week. on friday and saturday i played good i feel. i got payed off a lot due to there being more fish on the weeknd oh and its 10nl lol. usually i get called on my bluffs and they fold on my made hands but it was the other way around this time haha. but all in all i do feel i played good i just felt like somthing switched this week and felt like i had a lot of control this week on every play that i was doing theres one hand ill try and put up even though it wasnt a big pot i gave myself props for the call. also made some good laydowns and a couple hero calls so i feel good about this weeks play.



as for thursday goes first off i get paid every thursday not really a big deal but it was just another thing to check off on the goodness. but alaskan residents get a dividend check every year for the oil money the state makes or the taxes it earns on it or somthin anyway free oil money pretty much so this year the check was 1280$ so that was a nice little sweetner and then i started going into the positive side of the graph on thursday so everything just connected so well.

as far as life goes theres a few things going on i suppose. first off this upcoming week will be the last week of regular poker before i start packing. the more and more we talk about it at work the more it sounds like were gonna be done with the job november first i glad we'll be done by then if we are, but also id also like to keep working. i mean i pretty much set everything up so that id be moving by the first but 2 more weeks of work is a lot of money so it goes both ways i guess. also i think ive made a decision about my move. i think im going to go straight to vegas this year. at the end of the job ill still pitch my name to them and tell them im interested in the future but i want this winter for myself. ill have the next summer with them also so im garunteed work next summer so thats not an issue and then im pretty much planning to move to washington the winter of 2012 and im pretty sure i can get on with them full time just as easily as id be able to this winter so i want to spend this winter for myself and have fun and then ill really be dedicated to my work after that. my new season of pokers coming up the first of november too. since i usually end the season then thats when my new year of poker kinda starts up. so ill be reposting my thaughts about the upcoming year and my goals and everything like that. also i renamed my blog it used to be an "enthused poker player" but not i changed it to "enroute to robusto". im still an enthused poker player but i wanted a change and i feel the new heading better suits my veiw of poker now. for anyone not into poker lingo robusto pretty much means like a big bankroll or a decent amount of money or things like that. i think it labels my status pretty good now. ive got a good outlook this coming year a good couple years expeirience and im really seeing a difference in my play i really feel like this year ill see drastic changes but i will get into that more when i post for the upcoming year. as far as the poker law in washington goes. im kinda in a loof about it. i dont think theyd be able to tell if i would be playing in washington if i have all my account info still in ak but if they can and they stop me from playing there im going to have to resort to playing at full tilt. ill be able to 16 table there which i think is the max and all though i wont get and fpp bonuses they do have rakeback so ill still be able to make some free money so all hope isnt quite lost its just pokerstars is like the beesknees for a poker reg and theres not much else to it. also im kinda worried about this upcoming season of poker only about my lappy... i mean its a good laptop still fast but a lot of programs running and it lags a bit. ive heard plenty of people discuss how running hem drastically lags your play and then add 24 tables to the mix and your froze. so ill try it but i think more so than not ill end up getting a desk top which im fine with i mean whenever i get a real place in washington id prolly end up getting one its just you cant carry a desktop with you everywhere you go. like im going to be traveling a lot when i get on with my job and ill play poker after work so i guess ill just have to multi table like 15 tables or somthing which kinda sucks cause i wont be getting that much volume but itll be alright i suppose. anyway heres that hand i mentioned

well that actually just gos to the page of all the hands i was in that day but if you go to the hands that you can see the whole cards and then the 2.43 pot hand thats the one... ill work on figuring out that hand replayer sometime in november untill then im sorry lol

so when the flop came i checked he checked i felt like he had a flush draw j10 or ak the dimond came on the turn i dont remember exactly what i was thinking but i bet out and he just flatted so it really didnt change what i thaught about his hand it also kinda added either an A or K of dimonds to the mix the river was a blank and he bet out small which i guess could be a small value with a flush but at that time in that situation i really felt like he either missed a draw or had missed his whole cards. like i said the pot wasnt that big but to call with a small pocket pair i had to be confident i was ahead and i was. pretty much how the whole week went though almost all my showdowns i won so yeah things are going good so far. ill make sure to add on if i can think of other things but untill then fellow degenerates keep tuned

im quiting poker... for the day ha anyway my main friend that i hang out with on my time off is leaving for cali for 2 months so i decided since im leaving for the winter thatd i go say farewell for the winter and hang out for a bit. also i needed to cut my hair so i had to put poker on the back burner. also my last friend that i sometimes hang out with i still consider him my friend though but hes leaving to hawaii like november 15th so with my last friends moving away with all the rest of my friends either in college or millitary or whatever it makes my move out of the state that much more justifiable. i mean all the reasons that im moving to vegas i could also use for moving to washington but CMON its vegas im young single and this might be the only winter i got left for me so i gotta live it up and thats if i even make it past seattle soooo no promises yet. on another disasterous note (besides murdering that word) i emailed pokerstars about not being a resident to washington state but playing online while there. thats one thing that pokerstars has that no other site has and thats customer service there customer service is top notch any player will say that and they get back to you promptly and each email is answered personally and not just copied and pasted from a regulations page or somthing. wish that made a difference in my case lol but it doesnt. so i asked them that since im a resident of ak can i play in washington while im "visiting" i pretty much asked them that to see about it so if i do end up staying there. but their answer was that although id be visiting they do not allow any real money play online for pokerstars. i also looked at their regulations page and this is what it says

"May I play if I ordinarily live outside Washington, but I am visiting Washington?

It is not permitted to play for real money while in the state of Washington. Even if you are simply visiting, you may not play on PokerStars while you are there".


...pretty vague right? so my guess is that they kept it that short because they cant really determine if you are playing in washington or not. and really i dont know if theyd be able to as for my situation ill have all my info kept as alaska info like my address and accounts and anything else im keeping it all alaskan even if i stay there im going to so unless they can determin that the internet connection that id be using is from the state of washington then they wouldnt be able to know that im playing there. but their fraud detection is also pretty top notch and although im not trying to cheat anything they might just be able to detect where my internet connection comes from while. if i dont end up staying in washington im gonna try and play there while i pass through just to see if they can detect it cause i do plan on living there in the future just not this winter if i can help it haha. so thats kinda a little hurdle in my path hopefully washington will wise up in the next year and allow it again or somthing i dont know.

works going good its getting close to the end and with that said rumors always fly at the end of the job. i dont really pay to much attention to them untill they actually happen ive learned not to get excited over things like that. but some of them rumors going around are that we'll be done nov. 1st or possibly last week of nov. which when i started the season i already knew wed most likely end nov. 1st thats pretty much has always been the last day sometimes a week before or after but usually right around there anyway. before that though they said they wanted us to stay as long into nov. as we could which realistically would be the middle of nov. but with all the rumors flying we'll just have to see when i really do finish the season. i cant wait though pretty much 3-5 more weeks and then ill be on the road to wherever (hopefully vegas).

as far as poker goes for this week pretty mediocre so far monday i think i ended up like 15-20bb's up or somthing then yesterday i lost like a buyin and im not playing today so kinda so so. i think thats the one thing im more excited for is actually being able to spend time playing poker not just a max of 2 hours a day man thats getting lame.

im posting today for a couple reasons yesterday when i posted it sounded really boring to me and i really didnt even get to any of the topics really that i thaught about the whole week haha. im pretty sure i wont talk about them on this post either though lol. buuuuuut i just played the last 5400 fpp satalite and ran like a god pretty much so after the exchange rate and i lost a couple hands today im sitting on 1174$ a nice little rebound id say. im deffintley not going straight to 50nl like i did last time actually i might not even move to 25nl. for a couple of reasons one is that i only have about 2 weeks left of play maybe a little more im not sure though and for that reason whenever i get settled in where ever im at and i 24 table i want to have 1oo buy ins at every level so so to play 10nl i wanna have 1700$ for 2nl 5nl and 10nl im going to deposit 500$ like i said and i might even just start out at 5nl in the beggining just to get use to mass tabling before i jump to 10nl not that 10nl is hard or anything i just wanna limit my losses just starting out and by the way if i lose at 10nl i might just shoot myself lol playing at that level and being new to 24tabling im going to play pretty tight starting off which is perfect for 10nl there are so many fish that tiht play is super profitable. right now im running at 1.01/bb over 2500 hands i know thats a super small sample buuut if i can hold anything above zero (which i should be able to)then ill be able to show profit pretty fast. this upcomming season im not too worried about making alot of money online i more so want to get 24 tabling down and show consistent results and really work on my game some more so that ill be ready for the 2012 season. but in live play ill be playing 200nl which is pretty comparable to 25nl so as far as making any decent profit it will probablly come from there who knows i might actually make enough live to stake myself online in 2012 but if i dont thats alright. im giving myself 20 buy ins in live play. obviously live play is pretty slow so even if i were to go on a downswing it should take a while so im hoping 20 buyins is enough id feel more comftorable with 30 buyins i can easily afford it but i dont really feel like having that much i dont know maybe im over thinking things we'll find out when i get there if i do... i really do wanna go to vegas this winter instead of working lol im sure anyone would haha sometimes when i think about it it seems like when i get to seattle i have a pretty good chance of getting hired but then other times i think about it it seems like i dont have that good of a chance this year i dont know i guess we'll see when the time comes for that as well. going back to multi tabling if anyone has read frosty012's blog he has a video of him multitabling im pretty much gonna jock his setup seeing how ill have table ninja as well so yeah. one thing im not so sure of though is my laptop its about 2 years old. its still pretty fast but when a bunch of programs are running then it gets a little laggy and its also only a 12" i think so i dont know how it will do while multitabling. if i have to i dont mind buying a desktop just for poker pretty much. i mean i think id get one eventually and its for my hobby so i dont know i might not need to get it we'll see when the time comes on that issue as well lol. also while playing 24 tables its gonna be all business. right now when i 4 table im checking emails watching videos reading blogs doing everything i mean i only have 2 hours after work to do stuff so i gotta multi task lol. but while i mass table there isnt any room to have your consentration on anything else. im going to have music going but it seems like i play pretty well with music going so it wont really be a distraction. also if i move to vegas or even seattle ill plan on making a couple videos or so allthough it would be a more intersesting video if i were in vegas. ill make it interesting either way. sooooo i pretty much covered a lot of the topics that i totally spaced out on yesterday, this post turned out a lot better then the last one haha. well im gonna finish up my session for today and ill probablly post whenever somthing else comes to mind so keep the glass half full till then

september review./ new thaughts

shits all wack crackers.. haha so i have a lot to explain im going to start by recaping september i started september with 907$ and played 50nl i was doing alright but i really didnt leave myself any room for a downswing which happens of course. so i was quick to find myself at the 25nl tables i was doing fine there as well untill another downswing was occuring it was about the middle of the month and it dawned on me (took me 2 years) i dont give myself enough leway for downswings i explain it a lot better in a previous post but i dont feel like getting into it right now and restating what ive already put in another post. longstory short about a week ago i was down to 100$ i switched from 6 max to full ring. 6 max has way more swings and varriance combined with me not giving myself enough room for a downswing spelled disaster so i switched back to full ring. i can say playing 6 max has made me so much better of a player and now that im back at full ring i can see a lot of mistakes that players are making. so thats a plus for me. as far as the bankroll issue goes i had 45,000 fpp's left so i played the 5400 satalites all this week i really focused on them and played one a day when it would pop up id shut all my other tables and jsut focus on the tourney. i did pretty exceptional ive won 4 out of 6 and one of the ones i lost i should have won but i made a set on the river and the guy hit a runner runner flush so yeah. i still have one more to play and i feel confident about it. all together my bankroll is sitting at 969$ 850 of tourney dollars though i found a site that will let you trade your tourney dollars for usd at a rate of 99% so thats pretty good hopefully i can win this last one i play and have even more of a roll.so after a huge swing im actually up for september by like 60$. thanks to fpp's

for my next topic ill talk about my future thaughts and current play. right now im playing 4 tables of 10nl. ive been playing with hem this whole week and its a really good program you can go over your play so well and review so many things its a great tool for evaluating and improving your game. the player stats in my opinion are a mass multitablers tool. if you play 4-8 tables and you can focus on all your opponents then you dont really need hem or the stats if your not that serious about your game but if your a regular or really trying to work on your game hem is almost a must. which leads me to this topic. after this job is over im planing on 24 tabling at stars. before i stated that if i move to vegas ill play on fulltilt with 600$ get the 100% deposit bonus and get rakeback. but after thinking about it in 2012 im going to 24 table 100nl (either 100nl or 50nl ill decide when its time) so inspite of that i realized that the 100% deposit bonus at fulltilt will always be there as well as rake back.one of the main reasons im going to stay at stars is because of multitabling. on fulltilt i think you can only play 16 tables at once but i really need the practice so i need to practice playing 24 tables which stars lets you do. another thing is when the job is over if i move to vegas im gonna deposit 500$ this winter and then 4000$ for live play. so i should have a roll around 1500 and ill start 24 tabling at 10nl and see how things go. also im going to purchase table ninja. any serious reg who 24 tables and uses that software swears by it. it makes 24 tabling so much easier. its not designed to improve your game just make things go quicker for you and it pretty much pays for itself as well as hem. as far as me moving goes. the job is extended to as far into november as we can work before the ice shows up. but pretty much i think the latest we'll be there is middle of november so i have 4-6 weeks of work left im going to start packing oct. 17th which only leaves me 2 weeks left of play i have to put all my stuff in storage and stay with a friend after nov. 1st cause i thaught that was when id be leaving so that was the last day for rent but yeah. and my friend doesnt have internet so ill be without poker for about 2 months once i get set up at my new place. that is if i make it to vegas ill be driving there and plan on stopping in seattle to talk to the company that i work fors vp of operations or somthing like that so if he says he has work for me then ill live there in washington if not ill still move to vegas. if i do end up in washington this winter things will change a little bit ill probablly put another 2k online and still 24table. my goal this winter is to practice 24tabling study my play and really imerse myself in everything poker. so once 2012s winter rolls around ill be all ready to go for 100nl. one problem though is that washington just passed a bill making online poker illegal in the state. i dont know if that would matter to me cause im going to have everything like address and accounts and everything like that still in ak so it will be like im a resident of ak but just in washington so i should still be able to play as long as i dont change my info but we'll see.

thats my graph for the week pretty mass amount of volume huh lol yeah well id probablly be able to play about 2500 more hands but i played the satalites which took 30 minutes each and i worked today (sunday) so im not gonna play today. but pretty much i just stayed around a buyin up the whole week. i ran into a super fish like a few days ago that staked off when i had a set on the flop and there was 3 hearts on the flop and we got it all in ad he had AK no hearts which gave him top pair. and then he stacked off another time with somthing rediculus but im not complaing might be the only reason im up this week haha. anyways the cool loking graph is the only reason i really baught hem anyways lol no but it is cool to graph your results and recap on them. this upcoming winter im going to start logging my wins and losses as well. i know i already state how much i won or loss but ill have a little side section on my winnings or losses as well.im pretty excited for this winter no matter where i end up ill 24 table an i really feel confident in my play and i feel im really going to see a lot of results. i no im forgetting so much i need think i might start blogging right when i have the ideas cause when i comes time to post it i forget everything haha but untill the next time zip it up and zip it out....(dave chapelle quote)
