fun while it lasted

alright guys so i got a bit of news for ya. ill start with poker this time and then go into pickup and life.

so poker is going pretty decent. i was having a little ups and downs but overall am up pretty well. i think at the moment i am up 25 buy ins for the month but that includes a couple bonuses. also i signed up for rake back and i was able to get it, or at least im pretty sure i got it. i only played one sessions since they said my rak back account was active but it seems like i already got rake back. for me rake back isnt that big of a deal because im only playing 10nl and its pretty much just for practice but money back is money back. other than that just grinding away. since ive been off for the past 2 weeks ive been able to put in some decent volume, but i go back to work monday so it will probablly change. when i get back to working 12 hours a day i think i can average 1000-1500 hands a day and ill play like 4 days out of the week so i might be able to get somthing like 22k-25k hands in a month. pretty slack for online but its better than nothing.

life got a little interesting this past week. mainly with the girl that i have been seeing for the last 2 months. so the girl i was seeing was really not the type you would marry. she had a wild past and a lot of baggage. that made things interesting and being around her was fun, not to mention the sex... ooohh the sex. anyways, its kinda like eating somthing you shouldnt be eating cause its bad for you but you say " oh this one time wont hurt" haha. well i never intended to get serious with her and she knew that and a few days ago i just felt like things were getting to serious for me so i had her come over and talked to her about it. she was pretty upset and its understandable and we actually did both really like each other but like i said i never intended to get serious with her. kinda sucks but had to be done.

there was an instance that i was able to know that i felt like i was starting to get attached and this is what it was. there was a band that came yesterday and did a concert. pretty big time band called buckcherry, they have a couple songs on the radio. well they had a contest and the winner gets a free signed guitar and gets to introduce the band and then hangout backstage with them. well she won the contest, i have a past of being cheated on so the thought of being cheated on kinda lures in my head. although we werent "a couple" i was getting those thoughts that she was going to just have a swell time with those fellas. so basically to me it concluded that i really shouldnt have been feeling those feelings and the fact that i was meant that i was starting to care for her more so i had to cut it off. also it stopped me from going to the concert. which isnt a biggie but woulda been fun to go if i wouldnt have had thaughts of lead singer banging the girl i was seeing the whole time i was there.

pickup finally picked back up. this month had been going really slow up untill this weeknd. i had some things to do at the beginning of the month and then i got my tonsils taken out and was out for pretty much 2 weeks and so there was a lot of prime time that i missed out on. up untill thursday i had only done 7 approaches this month and got 1 number so i definitely had to try and get some more approaches in. well i went out thursday and was able to get 4 approaches in. after not approaching for a few weeks i was pretty nervous after the first few approaches. friday i think i did like 5 approaches and then saturday they had a festival going on downtown which i new would be prime pickings. and i think i ended up doing close to 10 appraoches. today is sunday and i think i will just take it easy today cause over the last 2 days i have gotten pretty sunburnt and look pretty funny haha. so over this weeknd i brought my monthly  approaches up to 25 and i got 4 more numbers this weeknd. a few of the girls that i got the numbers from seemed alright but i felt like the interactions werent totally solid and would probablly flake. one girl i really connected with and she was really cute like an 8.5 and had big tits buuuuut she has a 2 year old kid so i dont even think i am going to text her.

just over this last weeknd i felt like i improved so much in pickup i tried a couple new things and everything just starting to click more and more. i almost cant wait untill next weeknd and see how things will go. also my friends 21st bday is on saturday so that will be fun. so i know this post had some a little drama and kinda delved into the dark side of my thaughts a little but things are going good. so untill next time cosmonauts, stay tuned :)

up up and away

its been almost a week since my tonsils were removed and it has sucked :(

 so ive always thaught that getting your tonsils out was only a minor thing and you would be out for a few days. but after setting up my appointment i found out it was a 10-14 day thing. after talking to the doctor she said it would hurt for a good week and you would feel pretty misserable. well its almost been a week and things are getting progressively better. the first 4 days were pretty misserable but nothing unbareable i didnt think. they ended up giving me 500ml of liquid percoset for pain medication but i dont like the idea of narcodic drugs so i said i would only use it if i really needed it but i havnt had to use it. i think i might try and sell it haha ;) thats what ive been dealing with this week

there have been a couple more upsets this week and the next one came in the form of pickup. this weeknd turned out really nice and it was sunny and a lot of people were out and i saw a lot of cute girls. since my throat hurt like hell and i could hardly talk i didnt do any approaches which really sucked. it was like holding a slice of pizza in front of your mouth but you couldnt eat it. (which i also wish i could do). so yeah no pick up results. this next weeknd i should be pretty well healed though and i am going to hit the town really hard and do a lot of approaches and try and pull this month out of the slumps.

poker has had some ups and downs but in a different form. i actually have been running really good. i actually just think i am playing really good but im sure im running well too. i was actually beating the 10nl tables on merge for 13bb/100 hands. it is only over a 15k sample but still its going well. now for the bad part. for some reason i switched over to my graph results while i was playing and hem2 just shut down and had an error report. then when i tried to start it back up it wouldnt even start up so i had to redownload it and i had to completely remove all my hem2 files for it to work again so i lost all my hands. it was only 10k hands at that point so it wasnt a big deal. then it happend again the next day same exact situation and i had about 2k hands so i had to redownload it again. it was pretty annoying. i had a really good graph going for this month too as im up 23 buyins in about 15k hands. its alright though i might have some kind of graph for the end of the month but we'll see.

i was thinking about this winter and when i move to florida and grind live. i think im actually gonna still play on merge in the winter too. pretty much just for practice cause i can learn way more playing online than i can playing live. one of the biggest reasons im a winning player is because of hem. it really is a tool that can really define your game and make you a winning player there is so many ways to find leaks in your game with hem. so by time i move to florida i think should have won enough to move up to 20nl on merge and so ill just grind that for practice and find leaks in my game and do any fine tuning i have to do and add it to my live game. dont get me wrong live and online are different games but there are still a lot of things that are similar.

so yeah thats how this week has been going. just dealing with my tonsils being cut out and running good at pokers. this next week should be pretty eventful so ill make sure to make a couple posts. until next time cosmonauts, stay tuned :)

interested in daygame?

ive been wanting to do this post for some time now, but havent had the chance either because i never had the time and the main daygame company i follow hadnt put anything out thati really wanted to show. well a couple days ago they released a 50 minute documentary about there bootcamps so i decided it was time to make a post.

first off i want to clear some things up. most of the time when you hear the word pickup artist you might think of some sleeze ball fucking girls every night and not caring about the girls or anything to do but with him self. and i have a simple analogy to help understand pickup.

everyone knows starwars right? so i think this should be simple. in starwars they can teach people the way to become a jedi. in the movies you genuinley are a good jedi, but essentially you have the power to choose what you want to do with your new jedi skill. you can be good and join the rebellion and fight against the evils of the universe or you can join the dark side and basically do the exact opposite. to me learning pickup is easily compared. once you learn pickup you have this new skill of knowing how to attract hot females and getting them to connect and like you. once you have learned these skills you have the power to choose where you want to take it. you can be a good guy and have your life filled with beautiful attractive women you care about and based on what you want you can get a girlfriend or married. or you can use your skill in a bad way and be that stereotypical sleeze ball pickupartist who just goes out and sleeps around everynight.

now there are plenty of forms of game. night game (bars and clubs) daygame, wedding game (wedding crashers ;) , beach game, and much much more. just depends on what you are interested in. essentially there are two main types of game or "pickup" theres night game, and day game. i am a day game type person although i do dable in night game a little i do about 90% day game though. its just what i like more and fits my personality and its more enjoyable so i love doing it.

anywhoozle to get to the point here are some videos based off of day game. the first one is from a group out of california called simple pickup and they have a different approach to game which is more hysterical and "flashy" in terms of game but a lot of there videos just show what you can do in game and how far you can actually go in an interaction and still have attraction and comfort. the next video is from one of the co founders of daygame.com and his name is yad. after the book "the game" came out in about 2007 and exposed the pickup community yad took game to the next level. pickup to that point was basically a night game option and talking to girls during the day was still relatively not heard off. after reading the book yad spent the next 5 years trying to do pickup during the day and there probablly was daygame pickup artists before him but he was pretty much the guy that put daygame on the map. daygame.com isthe company that i follow the most because i can connect with their style and i can easily flow with how they go about how they do things. i baught a product from them that has about 20 hours of training material on it and it has helped me tremendously. the last video is the 50 minute documentary of daygame.com's bootcamps that they run. the first 20 minutes is basically just an introduction of the 2 main executive intructors and the 6 students. if you watch the video you will notice that these guys are every day type guys and some of them even come off to be a little nerdy or wierd. the next 20 minutes basically shows them in action and how they go about things and the last 10 minutes is a basic recap.

all the videos are good material and if youre interested in learning daygame or improving your social skills with women than this can be an easy introduction into the world of pickup. it really is life changing

unexpected month

ok so i have some news about how this month has been going and will go and its kinda lame. ill start with pickup , this month has been going pretty much slow in all aspects but i have had some things i have been doing on the weeknds so i really havnt put in as much effort as i usually do with pickup so far this month. the fact that the one girl that i picked up wen i first got here has turned into a regular fling i am kinda back to just practicing pickup just to practice it. shes a lot to handle but i like it. so far ive only managed to do i think 7 approaches and because of certain events that have taken place i might not get much more in this month. ill talk about that later. i did however do my first daygame approach at night. meaning i approached a 2 girls like i would in the daytime but it was night haha. also meaning that they werent in a bar or club environment. it was cool and they even said that i had a lot of courage to come up to them and they wanted me to walk with them but my friends were there so i said i couldnt no biggie though. poker has also been a little sketchy so far this month. i dont know if i posted this in my last post or not but lock poker ended up switching to cake network and the software was just annoying and i was just getting use to merges software. also holdem manager wasnt working after lock switched and although it probablly only needed some adjustments to get going again i was just frustrated with everything and said F it. i got a suggestion from a blog reader to switch to RPM poker which is part of the merge network and so i did i havnt played to much on there yet but so far i like it. also i dont know how long it will take me to get my money off of lock poker i heard sometimes it takes 2 months and right now im waiting for a western union payment to be processed so who knows how long that will take. that is also one of the major reasons i dont want to deposit a lot of money online, because im not sure how long or if i would be able to get it off. even if i couldnt get that 500 dollar back its no biggie. its only 1 buyin and 2/5 nl. now for the main topic of the post which this time is my life category. so at the end of last week my tonsils were bothering me. when i was about 16 they got infected a couple times and swelled up. after they werent infected anymore they stayed swelled up but they didnt bother me so we kept them in. well they swelled up a little bit more and i just said screw it i want them to get taken out. it kinda works out cause we just went on to maintanence at work and i would only be working 8 hours a day for 6 days a week untill the 5th of july so it kinda worked out allright. anyway i get them taken out tomorrow and supposibly it takes 10-14 days to heal and its supposibly pretty miserable. i think i will heal pretty fast though so we will find out. either way it affects my life happenings obviously. im going to be off of work for probablly 2-3 weeks which isnt a biggie since we are on maintanence. i wont be able to run game probablly till the end of the month. and i hope that i can play poker while im at home and not just be all loopy from the medicine. so there might be the chance of me putting in some decent volume at the tables. also there are some future events that possibly might take place. this concert i want to see will be playing on the 23rd which is right around the time i might be healed up so i might be able to go, but also my friends 21st bday is on the 27th and were celebrating it that saturday so i should be able to make that which will be realllly fun. and i plan on making him not able to remember most of the night haha. anywhoozle thats the main part of what has been going on. ill have more time to blog these next two weeks so im sure there will be a few blog posts headed this way. untill next time cosmonauts, stay tuned :)

may recap

ok fellers its time for the monthly recap for poker, pickup , and life. ill start with poker of course. this whole month in general was a little slack in all aspects of life because i was just starting the summer season of my job. i also didnt move into my place until the 7th of this month and didnt get internet untill i think the 9th. add that to not playing online for a little over a year and this is what the results end up as

so as you can see right when i started playing again i took a decent downswing of almost 10 buy ins (100$) before i started to readjust to online poker. i think i started playing a little tighter and things started to go a little better and then i started opening up in early position and start trying to push people around and shit went south once again. then this last week i finally got back into the grove of things and things started to come back to me and with a little luck i broke even for the month. it says like -7$ but ive earned 10$ in bonuses so im pretty much sitting even for the month. when i first started playing i really wasnt use to the software and had to figure some things out to get playing comfortably a couple sessions later i realized how tough it was going to be to multi table without hem so i got that and then from there it was just a matter of getting use to them and figuring out a routine. there are a little things here or there that i dont care for with lock poker. mainly there time bank system which is like playing the fast tables on pokerstars if they even have those still. also kinda sucked today cause i was planning on putting in another session today but they were updating their software and i couldnt login so it kinda ruined my chance to get in the black for the month. its alright though next month will be better. as it sits right now im able to multi table 10 tables and do alright. its kinda tough at times to get in that many games and it would be even more of a challange to find available games at 25nl if i were to move up. which i dont think i will this summer. so thats about all for poker now for the pickup results. again because of me moving into my place and starting my job the results are pretty low. but i did 15 approaches this month (kinda sad really) but i was able to get 3 numbers. from those numbers ive went on a date with 1 of the girls and i ended up sleeping with her. i met her at the beginning of the month and we hang out about once or twice a week and have sex every time like 3 times so things are good. shes going to end up being my summer fling so its working out. i also got a number from a girl last weekend and have been texting her this week and have a date planned for next week on maybe monday or tuesday. since it hasnt happend yet i wont mark it down but if we go on a date ill mark it for next month. she seems pretty into me so i have a feeling if things dont go bad than i might have a happy ending with her as well. these next 2 months will be the prime months for the summer and i plan on getting a lot of my results from these months. although i do have my main fling, i will still try and get another one maybe even try and handle 3. although i already feel the stress of trying to handle multiple relationships, but we'll see how it goes i still have to go out and practice. life for the month was a bit dull besides meeting that chick. i mean i started my job at the end of last month and i moved into my sick apartment but other than that it consisted of hanging out with friends a few times and yeah nothing super exciting. next month there is a concert im going to try and go to by a group called buck cherry which should be really fun. other than that im just grinding it out in life waiting for these next 5 months to go by so i can be in florida living it up. so untill next time cosmonauts stay tuned :)

a rough start with a glimmer of hope

so i dont think this post will be all that long but ill give you guys the low down on how things have been going. when we last left off i told you guys about me getting back into the online poker scene. well within that first few sessions i was down 9 buy ins. that was kinda expected in my mind. i havnt played online in a little over a year and anytime i come back from not playing poker theres usually a little bit of a downswing. well i was able to over come that and won about 8 buy ins back. after that i started playing pretty loose and playing a lot of spots where i had very little equity if any at all especially at 10nl where its mostly about getting value i also did run a little bad so combine those two things and its never good. so to make it short i lost about 7 buyins and im sitting down 8 buyins so far since ive started back up. its all good though, its kinda all coming back to me and how i used to play that would make me profitable in the games before. so this next week im sure unless variance has other plans that i will have better results. i might be able to get positive for the month but we will see.

so i have holdem manager 2 and if you guys havnt got it yet you guys are missing out. there are so many features to it. one that i noticed straight away was its auto note taking system which was sweet. unfortunitley i seriously only have like 2 hours after work to play when i do play so i havnt spent the time seriously trying to figure hem2 out yet but when i get the time i will. now for life and pickup. so pretty much same thing with life. not a whole lot is going on. ive been working everyday since i started except for one. i do have sunday and monday off though which is the reason im able to write this post. that chick that i talked about in the last post is still around. things are starting to get more solid. were like a relationship without being in a relationship which is exactly what i wanted to find. however if for some reason things got more clingy than i would have to depart that ship, besides that tonight me and her are going out on the town and i think she might bring some of her friends and than shes gonna stay the night at my place. than sunday we are gonna go to her place and "spend the day together" and shes going to cook me dinner. i guess im running good in that aspect of life. pickup has got some goods and bads to it as well. last week was just horrible for game and i didnt get any results. this weeknd went alright. yesterday i did 3 approaches all of which werent logistically perfect. one girl did stand out though. she had pink high heels and a mini skirt with a pink top and her ass basically told me that i needed to fuck her. i totally thaught she was a stripper but after talking to her i found out she was married and in the army which was crazy wierd but whatever so yeah no real results yesterday. today i just got back in from running game for about 4 hours. i did 4 approaches and i was able to get 1 number. i think this chick is into me but i have a couple of problems. the first one is that i really wasnt able to accomplish much with the conversation and pretty much only generated a lot of attraction. the second is the main thing and that is that she works in the mall. the problem with that is its like " shiting where you eat" so anytime she sees me there it my blow my cover or create some complications. i havnt texted her yet so we'll so how it goes and ill report back. oh i forgot to mention about the 15 year old that hit on me yesterday lol. i guess yesterday wasnt a total miss haha. so yeah i was walking and there was a group of like 5 teenage girls and one girl comes up to me and tells me that her friend wanted her to give her number to me and handed me a piece of paper. i looked at it and went over to the girl and talked to her for like 5 minutes i knew she was young but if she was 18 it would have been a bit different. needless to say i didnt text her. so yeah those are the highlights since the last post. maybe i can man up and make a profit in poker if not ill do what i usually do and just cry untill things go better. so untill next time cosmonauts. stay tuned :)

askillz2 is back on the virtual felt!

thats right boys and girls as of monday i have been hitting the virtual felt once again. so heres the details i decided on signing up to lock poker. it was either that or carbon and i just had an attraction to lock so i chose that one. i deposited 500$ and am playing 10nl to start things off. so heres how online poker has been going so far. on monday after i signed up and got some cash in my acount i hit the tables. i had a little bit of trouble trying to figure out the settings i wanted and found my self wishing they had easier settings like pokerstars. after that i had 2 tables up and running and i found out that even though i was paying attention to the game, i really couldnt tell what player types there were. in live play i can sit down and pretty much tell how a player plays in a few orbits just by there looks and manerisms and how they handle the game. online i had no idea even when i was paying attention. so the next day i bought holdem manager 2 which ill talk about in a little bit. after getting some stats i wanted on the hud i started to get a better feel for the game and falling back into my old rythym. the next time i played i felt i could play more tables so i ended up opening 8 tables. now is where things get a little nit picky. lock doesnt have good options for laying out your tables. i am playing on a 14inch laptop but if you tile your tables they get way too small and it turns the chips into just numbers which makes things more confusing so i started to cascade my tables. lock doesnt have an option to stack your tables so i chose to cascade. which was even more annoying cause now the buttons move down or up just a little bit every time, it was all just kinda annoying. like i said being nit picky. so i ended up deciding well its only 8 tables ill just stack them in the top left corner by myself which is a lot better and makes things easier. another issue im having is not being able to run table ninja. i think table ninja only runs for stars and party poker. but i sure do miss it now that ive used it before. when i have my tables stacked its sooo nice to be able to pop on over to the right and play it individually. now if i want to see it individually i have to drag it over which is..... you guessed it a little annoying. another thing i miss from table ninja is having it set up to auto bet size my bets. its a little tidius clicking up on the bet amount every time your isolating or raising somone. all in all though, lock poker is all that bad. 10nl is pretty damn soft from what i remember comparing it to stars. they dont have that many games running and on saturday night i think i saw 10k players online but its decent. its no pokerstars, but it will do. as far as im running right now. pretty much like shit. no need to talk about beats or anyhting just pretty much coolers left and right. im down 7 buyins in only 3k hands. one of my last hands i played was i had top set vs middle and bottom set and a guy turns quads in a 450bb pot...fun. so needless to say right now my thaugts arnt to positive about lock poker (shouldve chosen carbon) but im thinking positive and knowing it will turn around very shortly.

now for life and pick up. so i dont remember i talked about this or not in my last post. when i first got back into alaska i was running some day game and within like 10 approaches i got a few numbers but one girl ended up giving me a lot of good vibes.shes pretty cute i would say shes a 7.5

but she has a really nice body, samll C cup tits but with a reallly nice ass mmm. well i went on 2 dates with her and then we fucked. all i really have to say is i wish i wore a condom.... hahahha jk, no but seriously this girl is the wildest girl ive ever had sex with and after the first time she ended up tearing up my back with her nails. its escalated a bit and we are seeing each other semi-regularly. i told her i was leaving in 6 months and made it clear that im not going to get really serious with her but she is all game so it looks like i found a perfect summer fling. even if i wasnt leaving i wouldnt date this chick seriously. shes got a lot of baggage and trauma in her life. shes a good person just with a fucked up past. which in turn makes her wild in bed. i would say its almost like dating a stripper.

besides that i think ive done 20 or so approaches since ive been back. being back here and trying to run daygame has made me realize how horrible the selection is here. i went to the main mall yesterday for like 4 hours and only did 3 approaches and the whole mall was dead. all i thaught was "i cant wait till i move to florida". also a thing i just started doing this month was recording my results. so at the end of the month along with my poker review ill do a pick up review which will include how many approaches i did, how many numbers, i got, how many dates i got, and how many girls i had sex with. for me right now and my schedule. just an estimate. if i was able to get 2 new dates a month and slept with 1 new girl a month than i would say im doing pretty good accounting for everything. so yeah ill keep these results for this 6 months and then ill do another 6 months when i move to florida which i expect my results there to be way higher. not to much going on in the life aspect of things. just basically getting my routine down of work pickup and poker. hung out with some friends and shit like that but other than that i dont have that much time to do shit. my apartment is pretty sick though. its got all new black leather furniture. sliver and black appliances and im on the 8th floor looking over the mountains and 2 blocks away from downtown so its pretty awesome. expensive but thats kinda the trend up here. so thats about it for me. the next post ill try to include some pictures. i was deciding wether or not to put a pic of the chick im hanging with on here but i think that would be kinda exposing her and if for some reason my blog got exposed than things could be bad for me. anyways i will put some pics on here and then shots of my hem graph and stuff like that. so untill next time cosmonauts. stay tuned :)
