newyork trip recap

alright fellow degens heres the low down on the newyork trip. overall it was a damn fun time and a great experience with plenty of fun and enjoyable memories but heres the details.

so me and my two friends met up in the seattle airport and hung out for a couple hours before our plane boarded. since we booked our flight a little late we all had different seats which wasnt a big deal. it was a 6 hour flight to newyork which was ok but a little tiring and then we arrived in the jfk airport. after getting our luggage we got a taxi to manhattan. the cabi was a pretty decent guy and kinda gave us a little explanation of the areas we were passing. our hotel was litterally about 1/2 a block away from the middle of time square, it was called crowne plaza. it was a pretty nice hotel and was satisfied with staying there. when we first arrived we got to the hotel at about 4 and after putting our stuff away we hit the streets to check out the town. we ended up checking out a couple unique stores like m&m world and the hershey factory as well as the ripleys believe it or not showcase. the next day we decided to check out a little bit of central park than we went to the top of the empire state building and baught some tickets for a concert on friday. tuesday we ended up checking out grand central station and than did some shopping.

after everyday we always ended the night usually checking out the town and finding things to do. i think we ended tuesday night with a movie at the movie theaters. wednesday we went back to central park to check out more of the park and afterwards we went to the central park zoo. which supprisingly wasnt that great of a zoo as i expected it to be. if youve seen the cartoon movie madagascar (no judging) its nothing like what the movie represents.

that night we ended up going to a stand up comedy club where we laughed our asses off for a couple hours. thursday we did some more shopping and we watched another movie at the theaters. friday me and my one friend went to the concert but my other friend didnt want to go so he stayed at the hotel.

the concert was actually pretty fun. the artist was called lights. shes from canada and my friend had been into her music for the past couple years and shes actaully got some good music and the concert was well worth it. saturday we did some last minute shopping and just kinda relaxed and enjoyed the time in the city. sunday we were scheduled to leave at 6pm. it turned out to be the only day that rained so when we checked out at 12pm we called it a trip and headed to the airport. the weather for the whole trip was pretty much awesome except for the last day. when we first for there it was 85 degrees and then the rest of the days were mostly 70 degrees. the flight home was a little long but we made it and now im back in alaska. currently i have got an apartment in downtown anchorage set up but i dont move into it untill the 3rd.

its a little bit more than what i was looking to spend but trying to find a furnished place in anchorage is difficult to do and since its in the perfect location for where i want to be, its ok. i have looked at a few cars since ive been here and might buy one tomorrow so i will pretty much be set up. i might be starting work in about a week, and i am dredding it a little bit but after about a couple weeks of work i should be fine and back into the grove of things. now for pickup... so i actually did some pickup while i was in new york. i think i did about 5 or 6 approaches and 2 of them went really well. although i wasnt able to get any nubers i was able to run affective game and realized how far i had improved in the last month. the night of the concert was memorable though. me and my friend were there and we ended up running some game on two younger girls. which ended the night with making out and dancing. my friend must have pursued his girl too much because she wanted to leave but my girl was totally interested in me but oh well. so my one friend had just recently split up with his girlfriend. me being his friend for a long time, i knew the type of person he is and i know he would be good at pickup. one night on the town i told him all about it and he was really interested and intrigued. ive introduced him to a lot of knowledge to pickup since that night and now im starting to teach him a little bit and we will be wingman which will be cool because ive got big plans for this summer. also the day i got back into alaska we went to the mall to get my friend some shoes and i saw a girl so i approached her. the interaction went pretty well and i took her on a instant date for a smoothie and the ended with a phone number. i felt really strong about how that interaction went and totally thaught it was solid. well i texted her the past 2 days and no reply so guess i was wrong. kinda wierd though ive gotten numbers to where i totally think they are going to flake and they come through and than the opposite where i totally think the girl wont flake and than she does. just goes to show nothing is set in stone. right now i feel im on top of my game and at the highest ive been. there is still so much room for improvment but things are going really well. also this next summer and winter will be a defining point in my life in terms of success with money. i will have a chance to make/win the most money i have ever had so im excited for that. everything is going smooth and life is good i just hope i can make it through this season with out breaking so that this winter will be awesome in florida. anyway, untill next time cosmonauts. stay tuned :)
