so ive made the video of me 24 tabling 10nl, a couple warnings ill give before you watch it is that its a bit lengthy like an hour and 20 minutes, i did a horrible job trying to describe my play while actually playing which in turn made me time out way more than i ever do, and one more thing the mic i used is pretty cheap so the audio isnt the best but if i havnt discouraged you yet than have a look at the video....also youll notice i end up struggling with some sentences like i have down syndrome so thats like a little comedy sweetener for you guysdespite any spots that i played wrong or got timed out on i managed to end the session 2 buyins in profit so guess it wasnt a total waste of time :)

alright here we go again. so this week has been ok. as far as my personal life goes it was pretty decent. the begining of the week didnt have to much excitement but on friday i went to frank calliendo which was a good time. hes pretty funny he did a couple jokes from his standups from tv but also seemed like he was making stuff up as he went as well but it was a good show. saturday i was deciding on a couple things linkin park was playing at the mgm and i really like there music except for the last album i only liked a few songs which is the album they were performing so i decided not to go to that, kinda a bummer though cause i really wanted to go to a concert while i was here but they dont have any that i want to see before i leave so its looking like i wont see any. also on saturday i was planning on going out to a club, i didnt really feel like drinking so i decided ill play poker till like 1 then head to the club late and avoid the opening lines. well 1am rolled around and i really didnt even feel like going so i skipped that as well. so it seems saturday was an epic fayul. this comming up saturday though im going to really try and go to the mma fights at the mgm so that will be cool and maybe actually go to the club but im not sure. a few weeks ago i was going to make a video of me 24 tabling but i didnt have a recording program on my computer so i was gonna be a dork and record it with like a camera or somthing and decided that it was just to stupid to do that, but i downloaded a recording program off the interwebs for a 30 day free trial so im going to try and make one by the middle of the week.
poker has been pretty interesting, and ive been having very different results with online vs. live. live has been going very slow this past week and for the whole month. right now i am 100$ up for the whole month. HAND IN THE AIR LIKE YOU JUST DONT CAYAREEEE!!!!! but yeah pretty pitaull there are a couple factors contributing to that. one is i feel like ive been running the worst i have since ive been here. although im pretty much breaking even for the month and im not actually losing as of right now. i have been running bad. ive experienced for the first time since ive been playing live set over set and kk vs aa as well as being counterfitted on the river a few times by bigger full houses and of course the other spots where i have to lay down hands. another factor is that for the first half of the month i really havnt been putting in that many hours. the first month i got to vegas i was playing online like 2 hours a day then going to the casino for 8-10 hours and the results showed but that month was pretty much one big grind. now i still put in a couple hours online a day but ive only been at the casinos for like 4-6 hours then do somthing else or come home watch a movie study and do other things. but this last part of the month ive been putting the effort into staying at the casino till midnight so depending on when i get there ill play live for like 7-8 hours a day. as for online goes i have been having great results midway through the month i had a big heater that boosted my winnings up and since then i have been wining almost everyday right now for the month im up 32 buyins or 320$ also ive cleard two 10$ stellar awards and ill be able to clear a 50$ bonus before the month is over as well as winning a tourney for 7$ WOOT WOOT 7 dollassss makin it rain. but yeah so im having a lot of good results online this month, and kinda makes me think that last month was just a severe case of run bad but since ive only been 24 tabling for 3 months i dont have much to go off of. another thing thats interesting is the game quality. pokerstars got rid of 20-50bb tables and replaced them with 20bb cap tables. i dont think 10nl had 20-50bb table i think that was the upper limits, but since theyve removed the tables ive seen a lot of people buying in for 40bb (table minimum) and the game quality has improved drastically. deffinitly a good thing although 10nl wasnt super hard to beat anyway but just makes it that more beatable. so things are going good this month besides live. ive still got about a week left so maybe i can run decent an pick up a few buyins to show a little results before the end of the month. hopefully next time i post it will be the video so see you degenerates next time

live vs. online play
ok so heres the live vs. online comparison that i was planning on doing so enjoy
so basically the main big difference between the two is online is way more solid than live. for this post ill be referring to 10nl online and 1/2 nl live. for the basic play between the two there are a lot more weaker players in live than online. online you may have 1 or 2 limpers here or there as for live if theres not a pre flop raise from early position then theres usually anywhere from 3-7 limpers depending on the table. isolating such limpers is a little bit more difficult in live. if you do it online usually you can isolate 1 limper and have one fold or at worse be against 2 limpers before you isolate, for live if your in late position and you see 5 limpers and think theres a bit of dead money in the pot so you might be able to take it down with A9 suited if you raise your wrong. if one of the limpers calls there all calling. they have it in there head that they have pot odds to do so i mean if you have 56 suited and a couple limpers call then by all means i dont think thats bad but like J2 suited and 47 off are common to see people limp with and then call a late position raise. they basically have it in there head that maybe this one time ill flop gin and win big. so i found its best not to try and take down a pot pre flop with multi limpers unless actually having a hand of value that will play decent after the flop. as for the flop play goes. online it seems like they have a general understanding of board texture and that a flop that comes A T 6 probally hit his range so a pair of 7s might not be ok to call a bet here. well for live they will call that flop bet. as for the turn play goes online seems pretty straight forward and solid usually people will fold second best hands if theres another bet and there doesnt seem to be a whole lot of absolute horrid play i mean you do see people making a lot of mistakes online at the micros but usually not somthing that is insane. live is a bit different and you can see many different things on any given day i do see people lay down 2 pairs here and there but basically when it comes down to it they are just as bad on the turn as the flop. the river doesnt really change to much compared to the turn it seems like i mean people are folding busted hands and really weak hands if shown aggression so i dont really have much to say there. as for bluffing goes online they will pull more elaborate bluffs even at 10nl not very many will but there are some including me that will pull the right bluff against the right player (mostly nitty regs) as for live you dont really see a BIG bluff you might see one for 25 bb or maybe a little more but you will rarely ever see any all in bluffs or anything of that kind. as for which game is more beatable i would deffinitley say live is more beatable. the only bad thing about live is how long it takes. i really believe that playing pretty basic abc poker will beat live 1/2nl but it takes a long time to see decent results but if somone was wanting to build a roll for online i would suggest live if they are beating 5nl online. also live 1/2 is very very similar to 5nl online. so if you can beat 5nl online there i think your golden. but you still have to have the patience to play live. as far as big betting goes it seems like live is pretty straight forward. even today i raised a couple limpers when i was in the cutoff with AK suited and the button 3 bet me. i thaught a little bit and threw it away and he showed AA usually in live play a 3bet basically means AA or KK i have seen other people 3 bet AK and qq but very few. for online that same play against alot of players i would 4bet and almost be happy to get it in there. as for post flop plays usually big bets mean big hand in live you do see some spazs out there but its usually pretty straight forward. online i see people mixing it up here and there but its player dependent. stack sizes is another thing i nothiced online i all the regs buy in for 100bb unless playing a deep table, as for live most of the games are capped at 300 and youll see people buyin from 100-300 but the regs like to buy in for the max i guess that personal preference. it does go in hand with how the table playes though. live plays a lot bigger it seems. what i mean is that a standard raise online is 3bb pre flop. if you do that same 3bb pfr youll have about 6 callers and theyll all think your stupid for making it 3bb. a 5bb raise is a pretty standard open with a decent hand and i see 7-8bb raises with hands like AK or QQ+, i prefer 4bb open raise and usually get atleast 2 callers almost always. also 3 bets are generally bigger. so i suppose the bigger starting stack gives you more leeway to move chips around but your spending more in doing so.also theres the little personal differences like having to deal with stupid people talking all day or dealer problems and mistakes or miscalculations and a whole bunch of little problems like that. also going through winning and losing swings takes a long time. ive been on a 4 week downsing in live poker where that same downswing would have taken like 3-4 days online. to sum all this up though live is drastically worse than online. and very beatable you have to be extremely patient and play a solid straight forward game but you will be able to beat it online is getting more solid every year and its getting harder for people to even break even but is a good place to learn for cheap. i really do prefer online compared to live i feel i have a bigger edge online and feel more at home even though i play for less money i have more fun and enjoy online more. the only upside to live i see is the amount of money you can win compared to online.
i know i pretty much just jibber jabbered this whole post and it wasnt very organized but im just a mumbling wierdo anyway so please dont judge haha. so yeah ill post this sunday most likely and ive got some interesting stuff for that post so stay tuned fellow weirdos

mid moth review
alright this week has been pretty crazy and so far the month has been decent i suppose. ill recap on my life events and then get into poker. sothe beggining of the month nothing really special happend just pretty much did my daily routine and just grinded away this week was a little more intertaining but nothing super special so i started to introduce a run into my workout program. the last time i ran for any decnt length was about a year ago. to put it short i almost died. my legs still hurt and i ran like 3 days ago also i think my lungs decided to kill them selves halfway through the run so that was fun too. also i baught a ticket to see frank calliendo this friday ive been putting it in the back of my head so if i baught the ticket then i would have to remember to go see it. next i want to see "O" at the bellagio ill probablly see that in 2 or 3 weeks. i went out last night to the nightclub inside the aria casino called haze. it was ok kinda small and pretty loud it was pretty fun and i had fun dancing and stuff but i deffinitley was slacking in the female department. i let myself down again damnit... anyway cee lo green was guest staring there and they also had a go go dancer or whatever their called doing some pretty crazy tricks on the stripper pole it was a fun club but ive had a better time in other places.
as for poker goes ive had mixed results. live poker has been going very slow so far this month ive had a few spots where i have big hands and run into the nuts basically. also first time i got KK vs. AA playing live but wasnt able to sukout. so yeah its like i win a few buyins then lose a couple and back and forth right now im up 250$ for the month yayyyy!! well i guess part of my lack of funds is that ive only been playing 4-6 hours a day live. whenever im having a super slow week or somthing i get uninterested and would almost rather 24 table 10nl all day even though i win less. oh also i want to do a live vs. online comparison post but ill do that somtime later. as for online poker im on a heater no doubt about it. heres the graph
so yeah im up 23.5 buyins for the month which is friggen sweet i was up to 27.5 but had a couple beats there at the end i do admit im on a heater cause a winning players graph usually gradually goes up and usually doesnt just shoot up like a rocket but that being sayed i do feel like i played good it just felt like i had a lot of top hands and got payed off a lot. also ive been studying a lot and i came across a reall good thread on 2+2 that ive been reading a lot not to say the success is from me studying but im doing my part it feels like. its deffinitley making up for last month and hopefully it continues. i have 120k hands in at 10nl and it feels like its not really that much. i mean its 3 months of play and it feels like i dont really have that much information to base any statistics off of. i mean 120k hands is a lot but i mean i really think im a winning player at 10nl and last month i had like a 60k hand break even stretch which just shows that 120k hands really isnt that much. oh yeah i cleared a couple 10$ bonuses as well, and i played a 18 man sng and won that for 7$ too so things were pretty hot this last week. im really looking forward to the summer though when ill start playing 25nl and maybe ill be able to start making some money at this poker thing who knows. right now my online roll sits at 2085$. i think i made more money this week online than i did playing live lol. but yeah thats how the month is going so far. i think i will do an online vs live post halfway through this next week so stay tuned for that grass hoppers

hot sessions
ok so i said i probablly wasnt going to post unless somthing interesting happen but yeah so far poker this week has been good. actaully monday sucked, the very first hand i played online it folded to the cutoff who raised everyone folded to me in the bb i had KK and 3bet, he 4bet and i shoved and he had AA with me not sucking out. i was like wow that was an awesome way to start and the session didnt really go good. on the way to the casino i was like man if today is anything like online was i prolly shouldnt even play. well things were going decent and i was up 100 so i had a stack of 300$. then this very magical and loving hand happend. there were about 5 limpers preflop i limped in with 66 on the button and sb limps and bb checks flop came q 9 6 with two clubs couple checks and mp1 bets 10$ into like a 12$pot everyone folds to me and i make it 40$ then the small blind thinks for a bit and repops it to 100$ everyone folds to me i was thinking alright ill flat this and if a scare card doesnt come when he bets ill shove so i call the turn was a k of spades and he shoves for 200$ (he had 300 to start) i was like great if he had j10 then he got there but i called anyway river was a blank and he showed 99 for a set of 9s which usually beats a set of 6s i think. in all actuallity i should have shoved the flop seeing how half the deck would have put a scare card out but either way he still would have taken me for 300. so right after that i got up cashed out for like 40$ and went home the day was just a mess. got home. watched a poker video and some stuff and went to bed. then yesterday i was able to win like 3 buyins online, so the day started off good. then i went to the mgm and played and was running hot the whole night and won a lot of pots so i played for a while seeing how i was winning i ended up getting up from the table at 4am and cashed out for 850$ so i was up 550$ wich was sick, ive only had a few nights where ive won more than 500 in one night. so i went home and went straight to bed pretty much i got up around 2 and just felt like staying home today and putting in a lot of hands online. first session i played like 3500 hands and pretty much broke even then i worked out and ate and started another session and just ran hotter than shit i really wanted to put 10k hands in today seeing how i havnt played a 10k hand session since ive started 24 tabling in vegas so i did that all the time just running like a god. i feel i played well but yeah deffinitley ran good. also since the beggining of the month i was down in all in ev of about 10 buyins at one point, now im only down 8 buyins all in ev but yeah heres the graph
the only bad thing is that from what ive read from other regulars blogs and from 2+2 is that as soon as you do a brag blog post you instantly get doomswitched soooo ill makes sure ill post that graph tomorow when i do but yeah SHITS ON FIRE!!

meh week
so poker this week has been pretty mediocre for live play im up 350$ for the week yesterday was pretty crappy and had like a 5 hour dead spot where nohting was happening and i think i drug 2 small pots in the whole day lol. online poker isnt so hot right now and seems like im still in my run bad time. im down 2 buyins, i put 10,000 hands in so far and im already down 7 buyins all in pre flop so yeah i think im running a little bad. my non showdaown winnings are pretty poppin though i cut those losses down 2/3 compared to my 10k hands in december so at least i improved on those. but yeah nothing too exciting so far. yesterday i went to the venetian cause i figured it should be pretty good for the superbowl weeknd and i was right. they had a lot of games going and i dont know why but i saw an interest list for 4/8 horse and really felt like playing. it woulda been the first time i played any other game live but the game never got up and going. so thats about it for the poker boom for the week. ive also been watching a bit of videos on cardrunners and im glad i subscribed. i dont think ive totally incorporated anything from the videos into my play yet but i am paying a lot of attention to thing s and i feel as though i am learning so thats good i believe. also i decided that once i start working this summer im going to start 24 tabling 25nl. i want to have 100 buyins for it plus al the money in my acount i have now so hopefully i can leave vegas up atleas 2500 and ill use that money to deposit for my online roll. this winter i was really trying to get a solid game and its looking good so far so i think im ready for 25nl when summer comes around.
as for life its been pretty uneventful for the past couple weeks. after my last time at the clubs i didnt feel like going out for a couple weeks mainly cause i get really bad hangovers and also i didnt want to be going out every weeknd drinking like its a habit. i mean i guess im in my youth to where i should be partying more but 2-3 times a month seems about right i will be going out next weeknd though so be prepared for a dissapointing review on that night. also i was going to go to a wine tasting venue this upcoming saturday but they dont really have it advertised like i went to the hilton to try and get a ticket before hand and the guy didnt have any information on it and online it doesnt really state how you go about picking up your ticket if you order it online i could just buy a ticket at the door for 15$ more than online but idk all the nonsense i went through trying to get interested in it has made me uniterested idk i might swing by on my way to the casino on saturday maybe. not to much has been happening though and when its like that i feel like im not taking advantage of my time in vegas i really do want to see a couple shows before i leave even though i look like a dork being alone watching them, i guess i could find a date but that would require me actually talking to a girl sober and we know how that turned out last time but yeah with a minimum of 2 months left here i should probablly look more into it if i really want to see somw shows. so yeah pretty normal stuff not to much to report so maybe somthing awesome will happen to make me report during the week if not you guys will just have to wait till i have my rejection stories from the clubs next sunday laters
